We take a deep dive into the Kalamazoo 1SM in today’s blog. The Kalamazoo 1SM 1 x 42 inch vertical belt sander is a tool that’s designed for gender material clean up, material deburring and other various application sanding/polishing applications in any size work shops.
This unit come standard with 1/3HP 1PH 110V TEFC motor, easy tracking, spring tension, removable work table (work table size: 3″ W x 3″ D) and platen (platen size: 1-7/8″ W 5-7/8″ H).
A couple of reasons why we designed it with a removable work table and platen is first reason is when the work table and platen are worn out they can be replaced without a lot hassle and second reason is if you want to sand in tight area’s you easily do without machine modifications and if you want to slack belt sand you can do so.
