The Kalamazoo Industries 10C 5C collet fixture is designed to hold various 5C collets and designed to be dead length. Which means you place/set your part in the fixture, lock the part by drawing the locking handle down and the spindle draws up. This allows the part to remain in the position that you desire. Then your read to get to work.
